Pregnancy Sonos

EARLY PREGNANCY

First trimester scans are important in determining an accurate dating of your baby’s age and due date. Fetal cardiac activity is checked and heart rate is calculated, structures such as the yolk and gestational sac are evaluated to ensure normal first trimester development. The uterus and ovaries are evaluated to check for cysts or tumors which may complicate your pregnancy. If you have other causes of bleeding or pain in your first trimester, we can check these during your study. Our exams are performed transabdominal and endovaginally to provide the most information for your doctor or midwife.

NUCHAL TRANSLUCENCY
$300 ($375 for Multiples)
11.2 – 14.1 weeks

The Nuchal Translucency is a fluid filled space located behind the fetal neck and its thickness may be an indicator of chromosomal issues with the fetus such as Down Syndrome and Trisomy 18. At Advanced Ultrasound Services, our NT scans are first trimester anatomy evaluations that look at structures such as the brain, stomach, urinary bladder, umbilical cord and limbs. FETAL ANATOMY SONOGRAM

18 – 22 weeks

Our Complete Detailed Anatomical Scans are studies evaluating the structures of your baby’s brain, heart, spine, internal organs, limbs, umbilical cord, placenta and amniotic fluid. Cervical evaluations are generally performed using endovaginal imaging to ensure the clearest images possible. Gender can be determined for interested parents.

FETAL LIMITED SONOGRAM
$175 ($250 for Multiples)
12 – 40 weeks

Limited studies are ordered to check single issues like fetal position or amniotic fluid levels. BIOPHYSICAL PROFILE

Our Biophysical Profile scan checks fetal weight, heart rate, amniotic fluid, fetal movement and are commonly ordered when you are past your due date. Women’s Health Sonos

PELVIC SONOGRAM
$275

A Pelvic Sonogram is an evaluation of the uterus and ovaries. Pelvic Sonograms are often ordered by your doctor due to complaints of pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, or to evaluate a mass in the pelvis such as a cyst or fibroid. Exams are safe, painless, and preparations require a full urinary bladder upon arrival. Exams include a Transabdominal and Endovaginal Sonogram to provide the most information for your healthcare provider.

OVULATION / FOLLICULAR SONOGRAM
$250

Ovulation Sonograms are performed to count ovarian follicles (potential eggs) and evaluation of the endometrium. Exams are considered safe, painless, and no preparation required. Exams may include a Transabdominal and Endovaginal Sonogram to provide the most information for your healthcare provider.

BREAST SONOGRAM
$250 BILATERAL ($125 UNILATERAL)

Ultrasound can aid your physician in locating breast tumors and cysts as small as a few millimeters in size. Breast sonograms are commonly ordered after a Mammogram or Thermogram has shown a questionable finding. Ultrasound is also used for women younger than age 30 or that are breast feeding to evaluate a palpable mass or areas of tenderness. Breast Sonograms are considered safe and painless. No preparation is required.

Abdominal Sonos

ABDOMINAL SONOGRAM
$250

Abdomen scans include liver, gallbladder, kidneys, pancreas, spleen, IVC and aorta. Common referrals for an abdominal sonogram include pain, checking for gallstones, kidney stones and some tumors. Exams are considered painless, safe and require 6 hour fasting preparations.
